  Notes:

Found chr on familysearch.

1841 Census;(indexed as Bands) living (aged 15) in St Sepulchre, Northampton with parents and siblings, Sarah Outlaw (50) and 2 females who look like they're probably servants

Presumably she married after 1850 as Pain is not mentioned in her father's will (whereas the husbands of her sisters ARE mentioned).

1851 Census - can't find her.

Receives a 1/6th share in her fathers estate, minus deductions for the £250 she has already been advanced!

1854 - eventually found marriage record, so where was she in '51?

From Wendy; Northampton Mercury 28 Jan 1854 "On Jan 26 at St Sepulchre's Charles John second son of Joseph Pain of Felmersham, Beds to Elizabeth, youngest dau of the late George Rands"

1861 Census (age 36) living in Northampton St Sepulchre, Northants. Head of House is George Rands and she is down as 'Sister'. However name section just says 'Elizabeth Pain' and no ditto for surname. Is shown as unmarried - need to recheck perhaps is W(idow) not U(unmarried) as think have found her husbands death.

1871 Census (age 55), occupation; 'living on interest'. Either M(arried) or W(idowed). Living with mother, brother (Christopher) and 3 nephews (Lambs) and 2 servants at No. 36 Tewlaud(?) in Northampton St Sepulchre parish of Northampton.

1881 Census (age 56) living as widow with brother George, sister-in-law and their children at 41 Newland, Northampton St Sepulchre, Northamptonshire.

1891 Census (age 66) widow. Boarder in house of Elizabeth Kitching (lots of other boarders) at West Cliff, Holdenhurst, Bournemount, Hants. Occupation; Living off own means.

1901 Census; can't find, presume dead.
