  Notes:

Initial info from Ann-Marie Ell

In the Outlaw pedigree in the Northants CRO it gives her mdn name as Maule or Maude or similar - hard to read. Spinster of Northampton at time of wedding. Gave a marriage date of 1795 but that is obviously incorrect!

Marriage date from the Pell/Outlaw pedigree in the Northants FHS Library, Wellingborough.

Jan 07 ; found her grave, or more specifically headstone (shared with husband) - propped up behind the church. Says "In memory of St John Outlaw who died 7 Mar 1858 aged 80(? presum 85) years. Also Eleanor wife of the above died Oct 30 1836 age ?3 years".

Jun 08; Found her burial record in Northants CRO; Eleanor Outlaw of Irthlingborough, buried Nov 3 1836 aged 75, thus YoB.

Also in Northants CRO there was a document; 14 Sept 1824, Grant of the custody of the person of Elizabeth Manning (? - hard to read) spinster a lunatic to the Revered George Anderson and Mrs Eleanor Outlaw, wife of Mr St John Outlaw of Irthlingborough, farmer, and to the care and management of the said lunatics estate John Capel Rose Esq.

This led me to the website at http://www.maulefamily.com/fam_grp_charts/mfg_03.htm which provided most of the rest of the information on the Maule's.

Elizabeth Haynes Hedding (nee Outlaw) left money to "Eleanor Outlaw the wife of my brother Saint John Outlaw"

Also in Sir Wm Henry Maule's memoirs there is a reference to "George's daughter Eleanor".

Eleanor# married St.John# Outlaw, son of Thomas# Outlaw and Sarah# Underwood, in 1785.
