1851 Census (age 18) living at 30 Cumming(?) Street, Pentonville, Clerkenwell, London with parents, sister and 3 servants.

Wendy found; Times Thurs 20 Nov 1856 - On Tuesday 18 inst at St Marylebone James Crichton of London and late of Dundee to Elizabeth Maria Bateman 2nd daughter of William Bateman of 27 Hamilton Terrace.
And; James Crichton - described as Merchant -resident of Liff. Her age is 20 - his father Peter Crichton Corn Merchant.

1861 Census; Living as 'wife' (but husband not there) (aged 28) at Waterloo Villa, Annfield Road, Dundee with son and a Margareta Crichton (32, 'sister', born Dundee) and 2 servants. Occupation ; Merchants wife. Shown as 'Elizabeth M'.

1871 Scottish Census; (Indexed as 'Chriton') Living as wife (aged 38) at Littleside House, Monifieth, Angus with husband, 5 children and a Margaret Crichton (40, born Forfarshire, Annunitant) and 3 servants. PoB ; England.

1881 Scottish Census; Living as wife (aged 42, but might be 47 - cant see text) at Monifieth, Angus with husband, 4 children and 2 servants. PoB; London.

Elizabeth married James Crichton on 18 Nov 1856 in St Marylebone, London. (James Crichton was born in 1808 in Dundee.)
