Mary Elizabeth Wright

Christening from http://www.northants-familytree.net/pattishall%20christenings%201813-1884.htm which says Mary Elizabeth WRIGHT d William & Sarah Pattishall Farmer 15-Mar 1823. Birth date from Doug C research.

1841 Census (age 18?? hard to read) occupation not given. Living with father and step mother, brother and 1 sister at High Street, Irthlingborough. Father is listed as Farmer (in the High Street?). Name looks like Mary, but age in 'Male' column ? Tricky.

So this looks like a male called May, hence Arthur St J Wright's later interest in the name ? But then found;

The Gentleman's Magazine - marriages (1849 I think) - "At Irthlingborough, John, eldest son of John Holbrook Esq of Penley, Co. Flint to Mary Elizabeth, second dau of William Wright Esq of Irthlingborough".
Sisters Sarah Ann and Mary Elizabeth Wright both married Holbrook brothers, and their step mother was also Holbrook.
So think May is actually Mary, and age just entered in wrong column !
Wedding annoucement found by Wendy; Manchester Times 27 Jan 1849 (under subheading STOCKPORT)
on 18th inst at Irthlingborough by Rev. J Haniford vicar Mr J Holbrook of Heath Field in this city to Mary second daughter of William Wright of the former place.

1851 Census; Living, aged 26, at 3 Heathfield, Moss Side, Manchester with husband and a servant.

May 1856; Is named in the will of Stephen Sumpter of Irthlingborough "HOLBROOK, Mary Elizabeth, daughter of William Wright".

1861 Census; Quick look, couldn't find. There is a John Holbrook and Mary living in Shrops, but she born in Shrops.

1871 Census; Living, aged 48, at 4 Trafford Mount, Stretford, Manchester with husband, 3 children and 2 servants.

21 Jan 1880; Witness at dau Mary's wedding in Stretford.

1881 Census; Living, as widow, aged 55(?), at Laurel Bank, Harriet(?) St., Stretford, Lancs with John P. and Alice (not on previous census) and 2 servants. No occupation given.

1891 Census; Living, as widow, aged 67, at 1 Harriet St., Stretford, Manchester with Alice and 2 servants. Occupation; Living on own means.

Presumably she's the Mary Elizabeth Holbrook who died Q1 1899 in Barton Upon Irwell, YoB = 1824 = match.
Later Wendy found ; Liverpool Mercury January 1899; HOLBROOK on January 14 very suddenly at Laurel Bank, Stretford Mary Elizabeth widow of late J Holbrook of Old Trafford and Manchester.

1901 Census; can't find

Mary married John Holbrook, son of John Holbrook and Deborah, on 18 Jan 1849 in Irthlingborough, Northants. (John Holbrook was born on 16 Apr 1815 in Welsh Hampton, Shropshire and died on 2 Mar 1877 in Trafford Mount, Manchester.)
